Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Boop Shot handles information when you use the game. Boop Shot is designed as an offline-first, one-player mobile arcade game with local progress.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Boop Shot may save game information locally on your device, including:
- best scores and local records;
- coin balance and coins earned during completed runs;
- unlocked and equipped cosmetic characters;
- settings such as sound, haptics, reduced effects, and range-guide preferences;
- onboarding progress and other local game preferences.
This information is used to operate the game and preserve your progress between sessions.
2. Accounts and Cloud Saves
Boop Shot does not require a user account for the release described by the current product specification. The initial release does not include cloud saves, online rankings, multiplayer, or account-based profiles.
3. Internet Connection
Core gameplay is intended to work offline. Some platform-level functions, such as downloading or updating the app through an app store, may require an internet connection.
4. Analytics
The current product specification does not require production analytics in the initial release. Development and playtest data may be recorded locally during testing, but production analytics is treated as a separate future product decision.
5. Advertising and Monetization
The initial playable build described by the current product specification has no monetization. It does not require paid currency, paid consumables, forced advertisements, or in-app purchases.
Optional rewarded advertising is only a possible later feature. If advertising is added in a future release, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or with that change to describe any advertising SDKs and data practices.
6. Purchases and Virtual Currency
Coins in Boop Shot are virtual gameplay currency earned through play. Cosmetic characters may be unlocked using those earned coins. The current product specification does not include real-money purchases or premium currency.
7. Device and Platform Information
Boop Shot itself does not require your real name, home address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location. Apple, Google, Unity, the operating system, or the app-distribution platform may process technical information independently under their own terms and privacy policies when you download, install, update, or run the app.
8. Children’s Privacy
Boop Shot is not designed to knowingly request personal information from children. Because the game does not require accounts or direct submission of personal information in the initial release, users are not asked to provide profile details. If future features materially change this, this policy will be updated.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally saved game data generally remains on your device until you reset the game data, clear the application data, uninstall Boop Shot, or replace the device. Because there is no account or cloud save in the initial release, locally stored progress may not be recoverable after deletion.
10. Data Security
Reasonable measures are used to keep locally managed game data consistent and recoverable. However, no software, device, or storage system can guarantee absolute security or protection against data loss.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated if Boop Shot adds features such as analytics, advertising, cloud saves, accounts, online services, or other functionality that changes how information is handled. The effective date will be updated when material revisions are published.
